Tygers of Pan Tang (UK)

Time to introduce one of the coolest bands from the NWOBHM-era, Tygers of Pan Tang. The band who once had John Sykes as their guitar master and played on the two classic albums "Spellbound" och "Crazy Nights" (if you never listened to these two masterpieces. Do it!), before he want on to stardom in Thin Lizzy.
Tygers of Pan Tang is classic british heavy metal with riff master Robb Weir at the rudder. Weir was a founding member and with the band untill the breap-up in 1982. Between 1985-1987 there was a "Weir-free" edition of the band, but when they were asked to re-unite at Wacken Open Air in 1999, Weir returned to the band, at that point with original singer Jess Cox. From 2000 the band has been active and played live as well as released several new albums. The debut album "Wild Cat" was released in 1980 and as of today they have released 12 studio albums in all. The lastef full-length "Ritual" was released in 2019, but this year they also released the EP "A new Heartbeat". The big cat is ready to attack Knislinge for the first time!
