At the request of many: Eclipse confirmed!

eclipse_2024_2_credit_martin_darksoul.jpgNow we can finally release the band that was actually wanted by most via the festival's "wanted band function": Eclipse. We listen and do our best to fulfill your wishes. Now it's time for the group to make a comeback in Knislinge. Eclipse was formed in Stockholm in 1999 by, among others, Erik Mårtensson (vocals/guitar) and Magnus Henriksson (guitar). The first record, "The truth and a little more" came out in 2001 and was guested by, among others, Kee Marcello (ex-Europe). Three years later came the sequel "Second to none" and to date the band has released more than ten records, the latest of which is "Megalomanium II" (2024). As mentioned above, the band has been in Knislinge before. The year was 2016. Erik and Magnus were on stage with Philip Crusner who was a relatively new drummer and Magnus Ulfstedt who at that time handled the bass. Since 2019, however, that instrument has been handled by Philip's brother, Victor Crusner. For those of you who don't already know Eclipse, we can tell you that this it's all about world class melodic hard rock (not black metal as you might think if you watch the video for "All I Want"). If you like the melodic hard rock bands we've already booked for the festival, you won't be disappointed at Eclipse. Another reason to buy a ticket if you haven't already.
