Unfortunately, we have to announce that Lionheart is canceling his gig with us this summer due to illness. However, they have promised to return in 2026. We at Time To Rock wish them a speedy recovery. Below you can read the band's own press release.
Replacement will be Darren Wharton's Renegade. Thin Lizzy's iconic keyboardist comes to Knislinge and delivers his versions of all classic Lizzy songs. With his own band Dare, Darren has a very unique relationship with the Swedish audience and we are happy to have him here this summer.
Press release Lionheart
"Lionheart regretfully announce that they have had to pull out of their appearance at this year's Time To Rock Festival in Knislinge, Sweden due to a health issue within the band. A spokesperson for the band said "It is with great regret that we have decided we must pull out of this great festival due to an urgent procedure required by a member of the band. It's nothing too serious, but the only treatment possibility was the first weekend of July. We are all bitterly disappointed, but we know health must always take priority. We look forward to catching up with you all at another show further down the road."
Erik Grönwall to Time To Rock Never has the interest been so great for an individual artist as when Erik Grönwall sang with Michael Schenker at Time To Rock 2025. So when the chance came, we really wanted to have Erik at the festival again in 2026, when he is now investing heavily in a solo career. We in Sweden should be proud towe have such a star in rock music. A fantastic voice, an entertainer on stage and a humble "one of the guys" personality are just some of the ingredients that make Erik Grönwall who he is. He is so much more than just a...

10CC confirmed to play Time To Rock! "I'm Not In Love" may be 10 CC's biggest hit, but contrary to what many believe, the sound of that song is not typical of the British band. 10 CC was formed in Stockport in 1972 and, like their compatriots in The Beatles, frontman Graham Gouldman and his friends were not afraid to experiment with music. Ballads like the aforementioned song were therefore mixed with the reggae-scented "Dreadlock Holiday", the rocking "Art For Art's Sake" etc. The band has made a number of songs worth noting, e.g. "The Wall Street Shuffle" and "Rubber Bullets". Perhaps our more local visitors like "Johnny...

Knogjärn confirmed! Some bands are always at the top when we check the wish list from our website. This year, Knogjärn was in place ##4 and then we felt that it was really time to book them for this summer's festival. Since 2015, when the Karlstad-based band adopted the name Knogjärn and decided to wholeheartedly focus on Swedish lyrics, they have been steadily growing and are now a well-established name on the rock scenes. The band's blend of melodic hard rock and metal, infused with elements of both rap and punk rock, has earned them a broad and loyal audience. Their sixth full-length...

Leningrad Cowboys confirmed. Only show in Sweden. It's been 12 years since the Finnish band with the huge hairstyles and long shoes last performed, and those of you who have seen them live know that this is one of the world's absolute best and craziest live bands of all time. NO ONE leaves a gig with Leningrad Cowboys without a big smile on their face. 32 years ago, the band played the legendary gig at Senate Square in Helsinki in front of 70,000 spectators. The Red Army Choir was there then. Of course, they won't be doing that now, when singer Sakke Järvenpää is digging up the band...
