Bonafide to Time To Rock with brand new song!

bonafide.jpgA hard working band! Yes, you can really say that about Swedish Bonafide, which was formed back in 2006. Two years later, they broke through on a wide front when, in the same way as Myrath, they did a double gig at Sweden Rock Festival. Within a day of their own gig, the group replaced Sebastian Bach on the main stage. After only releasing one record and barely existing for two years. Luckily the members were not pigeons back then (as we say in Sweden). The song Fill Your Head With Rock, which was written for Sweden Rock, was named one of the best songs of 2011 by Classic Rock Magazine. Since then, the band has released six records and toured Europe, not least Sweden then of course, but also a lot in Great Britain. In 2017, Bonafide did a small Sweden tour with a certain American band called Warner Drive, can be mentioned in passing. The permanent band leader, Pontus Snibb (vocals/guitar) has a musical CV that most people can only dream of as he has played in an endless number of different bands. In addition to Bonafide, at the time of writing he is active in, among other things, Wreck of Blues and as drummer in The Wildhearts. In addition to Pontus, the band consists of Anders Rosell (guitar), Martin Ekelund (bass) and Niklas Matsson (drums). With this line-up, two albums have been recorded, namely "Denim Devils" (2015),  "Flames" (2017) och "Are You Listening?" (2023). Since he wrote a song for a festival once, we thought he could do it again. So we asked Pontus Snibb to write us a real hit. A simple, punch in the face rocker. The requirement was that the song should be called "Time To Rock". Now both the song and the band are ready for the Time To Rock Festival. They will of course play the song when Bonafide visits us this summer. Sweet!

We present the last three bands for the pre-party on the 4th of July. So we can then present the last three acts that are ready for our pre-party on the 4th of July. First up is the Bourbon Boys , led by Raubtier's Pär Hulkoff, who will deliver his mix of country and southern rock, cast in a northern mold. Sweden's very own rednecks are coming to Knsilinge! From Glasgow comes the classic metal band from "back in the days", namely Heavy Pettin' , which many of us who were hard rockers in the 80s remember with songs like "Sole Survivor" and "In and out of Love" among others. We finish with a band...
