Another seven bands confirmed

Now we can release seven more confirmed acts for next summer's festival. We start with Finnish veterans Sonata Arctica who will deliver world-class power metal. Ozzy's old guitarist Gus G is coming to Knislinge with his Firewind to give you heavy metal by the minute. Classic MOXY come over from Canada for an exclusive gig. They haven't been to our latitudes since Sweden Rock Festival 2001. From the British Isles we deliver the classic NWOBHM band Praying Mantis, still fronted by the brothers Troy. They sound better than ever. Trust it.
We also give you Black Ingvars who come to Knislinge to give us classic, fat riffs, packaged in Swedish children's songs, dance band songs, etc. Mood booster deluxe! Last year, Canadian punk rockers The Anti-Queens were supposed to appear, but their agent at the time messed everything up and the European tour was cancelled. Now they are on again! We end this annkuncement with something as unique as a Finnish Humppa band in Eläkeläiset. They have had epic success at Sweden Rock, Wacken and many other big festivals. Now they bring their Humppa to Knislinge and we guarantee that this band will not leave anyone untouched!
Remember to buy your ticket early. This includes entry to the pre-party on 4/7. We are selling a total of only 4000 tickets for that day. So first come first served!
10CC confirmed to play Time To Rock! "I'm Not In Love" may be 10 CC's biggest hit, but contrary to what many believe, the sound of that song is not typical of the British band. 10 CC was formed in Stockport in 1972 and, like their compatriots in The Beatles, frontman Graham Gouldman and his friends were not afraid to experiment with music. Ballads like the aforementioned song were therefore mixed with the reggae-scented "Dreadlock Holiday", the rocking "Art For Art's Sake" etc. The band has made a number of songs worth noting, e.g. "The Wall Street Shuffle" and "Rubber Bullets". Perhaps our more local visitors like "Johnny...

Knogjärn confirmed! Some bands are always at the top when we check the wish list from our website. This year, Knogjärn was in place ##4 and then we felt that it was really time to book them for this summer's festival. Since 2015, when the Karlstad-based band adopted the name Knogjärn and decided to wholeheartedly focus on Swedish lyrics, they have been steadily growing and are now a well-established name on the rock scenes. The band's blend of melodic hard rock and metal, infused with elements of both rap and punk rock, has earned them a broad and loyal audience. Their sixth full-length...

Leningrad Cowboys confirmed. Only show in Sweden. It's been 12 years since the Finnish band with the huge hairstyles and long shoes last performed, and those of you who have seen them live know that this is one of the world's absolute best and craziest live bands of all time. NO ONE leaves a gig with Leningrad Cowboys without a big smile on their face. 32 years ago, the band played the legendary gig at Senate Square in Helsinki in front of 70,000 spectators. The Red Army Choir was there then. Of course, they won't be doing that now, when singer Sakke Järvenpää is digging up the band...

Metal Dragon to open Time To Rock on 4th of July Since we at Time To Rock love crazy humor and everything that is independent, we naturally think that an upcoming Swedish comedy, which is about a fictional hard rock band, is just as fun as can be. The film, WE ARE METAL DRAGON, which is hitting theaters this spring , is directed by Titus Paar and the music is by Jake E (Cyhra, ex Amaranthe). Parts of the film were also recorded at Skogsröjet this summer. Now we can announce that METAL DRAGON will roll into Knislinge Rock City with their dragon house trailer and start Time To Rock with a...
