All pre-party bands confirmed

tnfo1.jpgToday we are releasing four more bands and with them all the bands are ready for our pre-party, Friday, July 3. If you buy your 3-day or 3-day VIP before New Year's (or while supplies last), you will get the pre-party included.

THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA
The foundation of The Night Flight Orchestra was laid by Soilworks singer Björn Strid and guitarist David Andersson. The latter was in the band until his death in 2022, but the former is still leading the ship, or flight, in this case. In addition to Björn, Jonas Källsbäck (ex-Mean Streak) and Sharlee D´Angelo (Arch Enemy, etc.) are still part of the band's original five. The debut, "Internal Affairs", came out in 2012, a top-notch album. The album ends with the song "Green Hills Over Glumslöv", which gives us a clue about the group's origins, namely in the Helsingborg area. What initially, at least to the audience, felt like a successful side project to the members' regular careers, quickly grew into a successful band. The seventh album, in thirteen years, was released this spring and is called "Give Us the Moon". Since 2019, The Night Flight Orchestra has been an eight-piece band, or more precisely a band with six men and two women. This group will grace our pre-party. A flying start to the festival, simply!

ATC

After a 40-year hiatus, ATC (Above The Clouds) is making a comeback that is called "duga". With the album "Cut in Ice", the band carved out a substantial piece of Swedish metal in the 80s, and from 1979 to 1985 they emerged as an obvious part of the heavy sound in Stockholm's music scene. Mappe Björkman from Candlemass is coming back to his roots with the band he once founded. With his feet firmly planted in 70s rock but with the sharp sound of the 80s, you can't deny that this is a band that you'll notice. Could this be the talk of the town this year? You definitely don't want to miss this. The band consists of Håkan "Spider" Söder (vocals), Mappe Björkman (guitar), Per Liljefors (drums), Michael Phillips (guitar) and Rickard Gramfors (bass).

WRETHOV'S BRYAN ADAMS TRIBUTE

Bryan Adams has bombarded us with his sing-along cavalcade of rock 'n' roll anthems and incomparably beautiful ballads. His love songs have always been as naked as they are straight. They have been delivered straight from the heart, without metaphors or similes. Because it is songs, incomparably lovely and bad songs, that are the core of this tribute band. This in combination with a wonderful joy of playing and an ultra-competent band, Anderz Wrethov hits us straight to the heart and soul. It is completely impossible not to just love this. Over the years, Bryan Adams has spit out hit songs and count on an evening of sing-alongs, partying and nostalgia. Everyone remembers : Run to you, Cant Stop This Thing We Started, Kids Wanna Rock, It's Only Love, Heaven, Here I Am, When You're Gone, Everything I do ( I do it for you), Cuts Like A Knife, Summer of 69. Since the success of Aim for the Stars in 1999, Anderz Wrethov has continued with his Bryan Adams Tribute. The vocal similarity is striking and the same stage presence and joy of playing as the original is present in this show. He is probably best known as a songwriter and has six entries in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest in 2024 and won Eurovision in 2025 with Bada Bastu!. The band has a total of over 100 years of experience in live music. Among other things, the members have toured with Diggiloo, Paul Dianno (Iron Maiden) E-Type, Wallmans etc.

THE ÜNIVERSE

Three local guys who just think that hard rock and heavy metal are so damn right. The hard rocking identical twins Tage and Sixten Reimerstam, 13, and the new member of the band - Kalle Grönvall, 10!, from Knislinge have been playing together for a year. As soon as the guys get on stage, it's just full house. They just exude joy and love for rock music, as they lick through one classic after another at a furious pace. They will open the entire festival at the pre-party on July 3rd. Make sure to be there and support them. They need it!

Magnum to Time To Rock - Only show in Sweden! When Magnum guitarist and songwriter Tony Clarkin passed away in January 2024, it also meant the end of this legendary, British band. Singer Bob Catley felt that he did not want to continue without his partner in crime by his side. When the worst of the grief subsided and the questions from fans started to pour in, the band decided to do a small number of tribute shows for Tony Clarkin in England. To once take the stage and play a selection of all the classic songs, writen by Tony Clarkin, to sold-out houses. As the band felt that the magic...

Only at Time To Rock - A Tribute to Gary Moore On February 6th 2011 the world lost one of, if not THE best, guitar players of all times. Born in Belfast, Gary Moore moved to Dublin in 1968 and joined the Irish blues rock band Skid Row where a certain Philip Lynott was one of the members. He then collaborated with Lynott through the years and jumped in as guitar player in Thin Lizzy several times, most notable as an official member on the epic album "Black Rose" from 1979. But it is of course as a solo artist we all know him. With groundbreaking albums like "Corridors of Power", "Victims...

The Crazy World of Arthur Brown to Time To Rock Almost 60 years ago, musical icon Arthur Brown stepped out on stage, five-foot tall flames leaping from his head, and uttered one of rock music's most stirring lines: "I am the God of Hellfire". At that point, the British theatrical rocker who brought us the Crazy World of Arthur Brown in '68 had no way of knowing that he would come to be seen as a major pioneer in not only progressive rock and heavy metal, but the entire concept of what makes a stage show. He's influenced generations of musicians who searched for an edge, from King Diamond, Kiss, and...

Loudness to Time To Rock Loudness (Jap) In 1981, guitarist Akira Takasaki and drummer Munetaka Higuchi formed Loudness. The band, which was complemented by bassist Masayoshi Yamashita and vocalist Minoro Niihara, is probably one of Japan's hardest working bands with around 30 studio albums, around 10 live albums and a number of compilation albums over 45 years. The first studio album "The Birthday Eve" came in 1981 and their latest "Sunburst" in 2021. The band's two most streamed songs are called "Crazy Night" and "Soldier of Fortune". The titles may make you think that they are covers, but that is not the case. In 1986, the...

Three classic punk acts confirmed DISCHARGE (UK) Discharge are an English hardcore punk band formed in 1977 in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. The band is known for influencing several sub-genres of extreme music and their songs have been covered by some of the biggest names in heavy metal and other genres. The musical sub-genre of D-beat is named after Discharge and the band's distinctive drumbeat. The band is characterized by a minimalistic approach to music and lyrics, using a heavy, distorted and grinding guitar-driven sound and raw, shouted vocals similar to a political speech, with lyrics on anarchist and pacifist themes, over intense drone-like rhythms. The band's sound has...

Easy Action to Time To Rock Easy Action was formed in 1981 and with the help of their image and artist name, the band became so much LA that the record company guys most likely didn't even realize that it was a Swedish band. For album number two, "That Makes One" (1986), the group had focused more on melodic rock and also managed to recruit Tommy Nilsson , the best Swedish rock voice of the 80s alongside Joey Tempest, as a singer. The album was well received and songs such as "Talk of the Town", "Teachers Do It With Class" and "Rosie" still hold up well today....
