NEMIS - New Music In Sweden
- here are the three bands playing at Time To Rock Festival this summer

Our collaboration with Studiefrämjandet and their NEMIS - New Music In Sweden, is now not in its third year and this year we have expanded the catchment area slightly, so that it includes the whole of Skåne. There have been a lot of expressions of interest. You become almost speechless and teary-eyed when you realize how many bands there are within Studiefrämjandet's walls and how high the quality of the artists is. It is basically impossible to pick three bands out of all of them, but somewhere we have to do it after all.

First up is the Helsingborg band HERA. We fell in love with their atmospheric and fuzzy old school rock with clear stoner tendencies and their awesomely cool singer.

The next band out is Malmö-based VANQUISHER, who in addition to looking like Vikings, also deliver Viking-inspired heavy metal with that honor. It's going to be a hell of a show!

Last, but not least, another band from Malmö, namely LIAR THIEF BANDIT. Here we are talking swinging rock with clear 70s vibes with a punk side, but cast in a slightly more modern form. Straight pipes and catchy songs!

Erik Grönwall to Time To Rock Never has the interest been so great for an individual artist as when Erik Grönwall sang with Michael Schenker at Time To Rock 2025. So when the chance came, we really wanted to have Erik at the festival again in 2026, when he is now investing heavily in a solo career. We in Sweden should be proud towe have such a star in rock music. 10CC confirmed to play Time To Rock! "I'm Not In Love" may be 10 CC's biggest hit, but contrary to what many believe, the sound of that song is not typical of the British band. 10 CC was formed in Stockport in 1972 and, like their compatriots in The Beatles, frontman Graham Gouldman and his friends were not afraid to experiment with music. Knogjärn confirmed! Some bands are always at the top when we check the wish list from our website. This year, Knogjärn was in place ##4 and then we felt that it was really time to book them for this summer's festival. Another six bands confirmed So we can now present six more artists that will play at Time To Rock Festival July 3-6, 2026. After this, three more bands remain to be released. Some real goodies are promised. All VIP tickets are already sold out, more than 5 weeks earlier than last year and if you know that you are also going to the pre-party, Friday July 3, then buy your ticket now, because then the pre-party is included at no extra cost! Leningrad Cowboys confirmed. Only show in Sweden. It's been 12 years since the Finnish band with the huge hairstyles and long shoes last performed, and those of you who have seen them live know that this is one of the world's absolute best and craziest live bands of all time. NO ONE leaves a gig with Leningrad Cowboys without a big smile on their face. 32 years ago, the band played the legendary gig at Senate Square in Helsinki in front of 70,000 spectators. Metal Dragon to open Time To Rock on 4th of July Since we at Time To Rock love crazy humor and everything that is independent, we naturally think that an upcoming Swedish comedy, which is about a fictional hard rock band, is just as fun as can be.
